Our Belief

At FAD Foundation, we strongly believe in People & Communities Empowerment as well as Inspiration, and not Dependence. Just like in the old saying attributed to Confucius that goes…. “Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for just a day. But teach a man how to fish, and you’ve fed him for a lifetime.”

We do believe that there’s more than an important life lesson in that simple statement.

Our aim is to build the self-confidence, ambition, resourcefulness and potential of young people in the poor regions across Africa, in partnership with interested persons, organizations & institutions in Canada & USA so as to enable them develop, sustain and live safe, meaningful and productive lives.
