Our Mission Statement

To establish, promote, foster, and maintain a bonded trans-continental spirit of friendship and mutual cooperation between Africa and North America (Canada & the USA) through various areas of cooperation and projects that benefit the public and private sector as well as grassroots community towards inclusion for growth and development. We believe that jointly, we can champion a world of peace, development & friendship between Africa and North America through various projects and programs.

How we work

Community centers

At FAD Foundation, we believe that communities, families, and our people (mainly children, youths & women) are the core and base of nation-building, growth, development, and stability for the future.

Research approach

We believe that knowing the background, the real causes, the challenges and the actual stakeholders involved is the best way of real and long-term problem solving for our stakeholders.

Focused support

Are the beneficiaries the right ones? Is the sustenance reaching the intended people or groups? Are some of the questions that we raise before venturing into a project. So that we remain focused & in line with our supporters & stakeholders.

Your help is very important

FAD FOUNDATION conducts community outreach on nutrition and hygiene, female reproductive health, cancer education and detection, reporting sexual assault cases, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, and hypertension.

Our Community Development Agenda

At FAD Foundation, our Africa Community Development Agenda is premised on embracing a family-centered approach to ending poverty, food security, peace and justice, financial stability and health. We join families in communities where we work in various African countries to change global hunger, poverty, and illness.

After School and Summer Camp

Your help is very important

Our After School and Summer Camp Programs provide families with the best quality services appropriate for children ages 5 to 12 years of age. FAD FOUNDATION’s activities are structured to develop physical fitness, creativity, social skills, academic performance, STEM, and self-esteem. The program also offers youth leadership training, nurturing, and mentorship.

A Message From our Beneficiaries

  • “Even with the challenges I face, I remain hopeful that with friends like you and others out there, one day I will make it and be successful in life, then I will also help other children and their families to also be happy, have food, medicine, and clothing for themselves.”

    Julius Ddungu
  • “At least if I can get help to go to school every day like all the other children in cities and town without having to be chased away for school fees and other requirements and i finish university, then I would not mind much about the other challenges that I am facing.”

    Miriam Namirembe
  • “My prayer and dream in life is to be a children’s doctor when I grow up. And then I treat all children so that they do not fall sick and die, cannot play, cannot go to school, they are not miserable or do not die when still young. It scares me most when families bury their children.”
